Octane? Guau!!

I have always loved the sound of the super 70 handpieces that Ibanez used on their Les Paul models a decade ago. It was a sound with many nuances, as well as aggressiveness, but difficult to find, since they stopped being manufactured a long time ago. However, I found out about these pure octane from Tonerider and I didn't even think about it (I was already playing with an advantage, I already bought a set of Tonerider's classic humbuckers and I knew I was going to get it right). The sound of these Octanes do not disappoint, and I like them so much that I ended up mounting them on my RGT 3020. Pure wonder!!

Perfect Pairing

I had been using an Octane bridge with a Rocksong neck in a Harley Benton Fusion. I have tried the Generator neck and I find it a bit dull, not muddy but lacking some bite. The Rocksong is clear and not too difficult to balance with the Octane bridge, but it lacks weight in the bass - still a better option for me than the Generator.
As soon as I found out the Octane neck was available I bought one. I'm glad I did. It has the clarity and bite, but also more per in the bottom end. It matches perfectly with the Octane bridge.
I like a bit of bite and sparkle for clean and 'edge of breakup' tones. You can always turn the tone down when playing with distortion to do it getting too fizzy. The Octane set gives me what I need. Thanks Tonerider!

Good stuff!

Delivers on what it promises. Great for high gain tone, and produces harmonics very easily. Pairs well with the Generator neck.
