The Pure Vintage set from Tonerider is the perfect upgrade for any player looking for that warm, vintage Stratocaster sound.

Never harsh, full of chime and equally at home with clean or dirty amps, this is the set that defined the Tonerider approach to pickup making more than 20 years ago. Wound with heavy AWG42 wire and scatterwound to mimic the "Holy Grail" of single coil guitar tones - the late 50s strat.

The Pure Vintage set uses rod magnets with our "Modified Vintage Stagger" allowing for great string to string balance on a wide range of instruments.

Each pickup is fully wax potted to reduce any microphonic feedback, and comes supplied with screws, latex height adjustment tubing and an installation guide.

Pure Vintage Stratocaster Pickups

I absolutely love these pickups and highly recommend them. Just put them in a 60s Squire classic vibe strat and what a difference. No harshness or muddy tones. These pickups deliver bell like tones like no other pickups. They are balanced and can do cowboy chords til the cows come home. Simply put they are the holy grail of pickups. Liked them so much that i just bought the Surfaris for a Squire classic vibe 50s strat and like them just as much. My gig strat is a Fender 60splayer series with Wilde noiseless in the front and middle but sports a Rock Song humbucker in the bridge. Tone Rider has the most amazing pickups!!! Get some!!!

These are the best sounding single coils I have ever heard.. I put the neck and middle in the corresponding positions of a hamer 1990 Centaura, and I'm absolutely Blown Away.. possibly the best pickups I have heard ever in any guitar.. makes the Duncan garbage that was in there sound like two tin cans with a wet string
